Money is a hyper-reality

Money only has value because we believe it has value

I can’t recall the person who first described money as a hyper-reality, but it is. Humanity has to exist for money to have any value, otherwise it’s just metal and printed paper.

Money has become a religion

Money has the strongest faith and belief system in the world. We’re all slaves to it, we work our asses off to earn it, but rarely question why?

Why is it okay for a manager to earn £100k, and a junior to earn 10k? If you’re going to give me the ‘experience’ answer. Stop! Think! If I do 8 hours work, and you do 8 hours work … is it really any different? I don’t think so!

It’s time to start questioning reality! Life is more valuable than the silly things we believe in blindly.
